Registration, Records and Policies
Orientation of New Students
All students are encouraged to attend an orientation to meet faculty, students and be introduced to the school.
Registration Add/Drop
There is an add/drop period up to the second week of class. Students must complete form and secure the faculty member's signature.
Course Withdrawal
Students may withdrawal from a course after the add/drop period has expired but not later than midterm. A student must complete withdrawal form and secure appropriate faculty signatures.
Tuition Refund Schedule
- Within five (5) days of registration 100-percent refund
- Up to second scheduled week of class 50-percent refund
- After second week of class Non-refundable
Progress Toward Degree or Certificate
The time required to complete the requirements for a degree or certificate will depend on the academic background that a student brings to the college. Students are encouraged to work toward a degree or certificate at a pace that suits their ability and circumstances.
Make Up Work
Students who receive a grade lower than a C as a result of major illness or other verifiable hardship may petition the Academics Office to make up required class work.
Credits From Unaccredited Colleges
Credits may be granted toward advanced standing for significant relevant experience that demonstrates substantial knowledge of theological and biblical doctrines. Additional testing will be required to demonstrate breadth of knowledge. Requests should be submitted to Academic Office for consideration.
Incompletes
An incomplete may be given to a student doing acceptable work who has been unable to complete course requirements on time due to illness or verifiable emergency. Work must be completed within one year.
Extended Absence (non-enrollment)
A student who has not enrolled for a period of two years will be required to complete a new application before registering again. Students who reapply for admission must meet all degree requirements in effect at the time they resume classes.
Academic Probation
In the event that a student fails to meet good academic standing (cumulative GPA 2.5), he or she will be placed on academic probation. Students whose cumulative GPA falls below 2.0 may be subject to academic dismissal. If a student receiving veterans' benefits fails to meet the above standards within two consecutive terms of enrollment after being placed on probation, he or she will not be eligible for benefits until that person has regained good academic standing.
Other Policies
- Three (3) absences will result in a drop of one whole grade.
- Two (2) tardies of more than 20 minutes equals one absence.
- Make-up work must be completed within two (2) weeks.
- Each class requires completion of all reading and course work including assignments, class tests and final.
- Recognized holidays are those announced at the beginning of the semester.
